Weco Windows was established by architect Iciar de las Casas and other associates for the express purpose of developing her design for the Weco W2C window. The company was founded in 2014 in Madrid, and is currently in a start-up phase. Weco's associates are architects with a wide and varied experience in the profession and in the building industry. The company has developed a closely-knit team of consultants, subcontractors and suppliers, who have participated actively with their knowledge, time and resources in the development of the project.

The window is currently in production and on the market in Spain, and we are opening new markets in Europe, the United States and the Middle East.

The Weco W2C window has won a number of international awards, including the A' Design Silver Award (2016), the Red Dot Award (2015) and the Best of Products Award of the US journal "The Architect's Newspaper" (also 2015).

The revolutionary feature of the Weco W2C window is its frameless glass. The double pane glazing works structurally with a hidden aluminum profile to become a sheer, transparent plane. This elegant solution maximizes the window’s open area. Mounted on a wall frame made of laminated chestnut wood from sustainable forests, the window adapts the latest technical advances for high-performance energy savings, meeting the standards of the Passivhaus institute in its triple-glazed version.

Windows are made to order in custom dimensions and a variety of options: tilt-and-turn, sliding, pivot and fixed operations, and interior glazing trimmed in black, white or a variety of baked enamel colors. The system allows unbroken openings up to six meters long.
